Joining a Zoom call the way a guest does
The agent uses the ordinary join link. That matters for passcode-protected meetings: the invitation link Zoom generates already carries the passcode, so pasting the full link avoids the agent stalling on a prompt it has no way to answer. A bare meeting ID will not get it in.
If the host has a waiting room enabled — the default for many accounts — the agent lands there and stays until somebody admits it. This is the same queue a human guest sits in, and the same person clicks the same button.
Once admitted the agent's tile appears with its generated portrait, its microphone opens, and it starts tracking the conversation. It answers when addressed, using the instructions and knowledge attached to its profile.
Host controls that silence a joining participant
Zoom gives hosts more control over arriving participants than the other two platforms, and two of those controls will quietly stop an agent from being useful. The first is mute on entry: the agent joins successfully, appears in the roster, and is simply not heard until somebody unmutes it.
The second is the host-only unmute restriction. When participants are not allowed to unmute themselves, an agent that is muted on entry stays muted no matter what it tries to say. If your agent seems to be ignoring the room, check the roster for a muted microphone icon before assuming the agent failed.
Registration-required meetings are the third case. Those expect a human to complete a form before receiving a personal join link — send the agent the resulting link, not the registration page.

Do I need to install a Zoom App or get marketplace approval?

Can the agent join a passcode-protected Zoom meeting?
